GMHTP is on Tech (here) as well. Maybe just a PM to them and a link can help. The problem is, companies will want to see guaranteed pay. Word of mouth at the events is one of the easiest ways to get it done, but they need proof that people will buy them and have the money for them.
I know that the desire is there, but there has to be some other sort of guarantee.

Pricing should be done first.

Well, I am not 100% sure that GM would still do it then. As The Boss here said, GM has no desire now to do that. They are wholly focused on the LS series now and the times they are going through and the future of newer engine designs. It is not to say that they wont do it ever, but GM just does not give free reign over things anymore.
Also, from what I hear, there still was interest in the other aftermarket block manuf in doing them, but a minimum order would be over 50. More in the 100 range.
I know the desire is there, and the need/want, but is it enough for 100 block min order? Let me see if we can talk directly to some of the other guys in the same dept at a few of the places you referenced Tony and I will try to get back to you sometime this next week.

No comment on that situation.
The problem is most people see this as being so easy and easy for GM to make money on, so they should do it. In reality, it is easier to get an aftermarket company to bite than GM, even though GM originally gave the green light to make the parts in the first place.
The purpose of me and SD getting into this conversation in the first place it to help renew some interest in the LT world. BUT, that is not a promise that we can get a single thing to happen from GM. Nor is it a promise that any of the other companies that were somewhat interested in this niche will be again. It is an offering to check into (so far) this situation which appears to have garnered the biggest amount of interest lately. All of the rest of the parts are there for killer power, you just need the ability to make more cubes without selling body parts to fund it.

If they won't sell them, then that's messed up.
'We have no interest in making them anymore, and no one else can either...'

LOL, not really. I just finished assembling my LS3:
stock 6.2 bottom end
custom Pat G blower cam
ARP head studs
LS9 head gaskets
stock LS3 heads w/ Patriot Extreme dual valve springs
stock LS3 intake
Holley 90mm cable TB
Kooks 1 7/8"x2" stepped headers
Procharger D1SC (going for ~7-8 psi)
We'll see what she puts down.
