First time on the track with new setup!!!
I am not saying I am right, but that is how my mind interprets this and I cant think of any other way...SO
If I am wrong explain it to me so I can be educated, not sit here wondering.
If you ran a 7.78 at 86 and I ran an 8.4 at 86, my MPH is screaming which shows that my top end is stout as **** if thats the case!
I am almost .8 SLOWER in the 1/8 mile and trapping at the same speed. If I can pull a faster 60', like a 1.6, that brings the E/T down to 8.0 AT LEAST, and my bottom end will be alot faster on paper!

If you think about it, your mph is actually higher because you had more time to build that MPH. It all makes perfect sense!
LMAO, Somebody quote that ****.
m6 cars cutting 1.6 60fts are also pretty dialed in.
Again, what cam are you running? I see you have LE heads. I would be livid if my H/C car didn't go low high 6's to low 7's.
With his gears, driving and tune being off the car doesn't even come alive til the 1/8th.
Trust me IF he doesn't melt it down and gets it geared tuned and hooking. It will dyno 420ish on a dynojet and trap / ET accordingly.
The cam is a custom xfi grind, 220's intake and .570 lift
