about to pull the trigger on the S60....
I was looking at the options and want some opinions......
it says it ships with a chrome cover but in the pic shows a black with a big S is this an option?
Do I want to upgrade to a locker?
Car is lowered and have LCA drops do you need special brackets for the S60?
Do I need new sway bar mounts?
also looking into the PST aluminum driveshaft any complaints?
let me know what you think
I went with the upgraded cover as I heard the chrome may have tendencies to leak.
Spool will be the strongest for obvious reasons but I don't take mine to the track enough for that.

I hear if you run low profile tires you will def have trouble running a spool which I have till I can get BS street lites in a 15
If you are M6 and want bulletproof I would not go with a trutrac, peroid. The manufactures changed and they are not what they used to be. If you can deal with a spool do that, if not get a wavetrac (lifetime no-matter what warranty)
S60 is heavy, does have a bigger 3rd member and bolts right in.
9" moser or MWC, lots of options, lighter and pretty close to bulletproof
Tony.
OP, how much do you drive the car on the street? If minimal then get a spool, unbreakable and the best option. I'll be doing a spooled 9" for the race car.
I’ve read here on LS1tech that good power and hooking with a 12 bolt will result in gear whine.
I’d say the he S60 is needed above 800 HP. It’s very heavy.
