Default Nitrous Outlet Victor "E" LT1 Intake (Pix)

I had Dave & crew freshen up my intake with an !waterneck procedure as well as fixing some cracked intake bolt holes and the addition of a 1-Stage Spray bar system. I am extremely happy with how Dave treated me and the work looks amazing.

Thanks guys!

It's been 'fired' a few times, driven a wee bit too. Not enough to do anything with though. All i have to do know is wire the XFI and put the junk in the car.

Tony.

I am diggin THAT! Is the E manifold a Vic Jr pretty much?

And those Canton valve covers, why do they all look like they dont fit? The look too big(long).

I talked to Spectre performance at the Power Tour and told them there is a market for nice sheetmetal valvecovers for our cars. He took pics of mine to look into making some.

Spectre has come a LONG way, not the ricer company I perceived them to be....they make nice stuff.

yes...I spoke with a rep at Edelbrock a while back...he told me the only difference is they machine the carburated casting manifold for the injector bungs...otherwise they are exactly the same.

Then why do they advertise the rpm range higher than the victor jr ?

-I dont like powdercoating, I wanted the cast look and thats what I got. I think it looks better.

-And the Cantons arent really bolted down yet but they suck *** from what I can see, an expensive cover like that should fit like a glove and they dont. I'll give them one try before I got LT4 composites.

-As far as cowl clerance, I havent cut the metal cowl yet just the plastic wiper cowl has maybe a 1/2 U-trip to fit snug over the elbow. That was anothe reason I did this because I want my $600 hood to close/open just fine without having to notch anything.

Yeah but when the intake gets a grease and oil from working or running hard it will look like crap. For those who want the aluminum finish, I just clear it and it looks 10x better IMO.
