Haha, ya I know what you mean. Mine hasnt been washed or driven since the start of september. I like the gs stripes a lot, Just not sure if it will fit my Drag look. If I was staying for a street look I'd deff get them.

i love them, just a little something to set it apart.

I've actually gotten a few more things taken car of as of lately.
got the exhaust welded up, nice and quiet until the cutout is open.
the car is running and driving, I've yet to have it aligned, so it's way out of whack with that, but that's soon to come. i'm having charging issues with the alternator, I've had it completely rebuilt w/ a new voltage regular, motor, brushes, bearings and all, and i'm getting good connection at both the screw on power from the battery and the regulator plug and 12v's through a multimeter there as well. i think my problem is not getting appropriate ground though and i think it's because of the relocation bracket's powder coat is preventing the alternator from getting appropriate ground. but that should be taken care of within the next few days, and i should be able to put some actual mileage on the motor. so far it's got 12miles on it.

while at the exhaust shop.

some of the motor running, hopefully I'll be able to get a video soon.

and i know it's pretty dirty, I've yet to be able to clean the car like i want to.
soon though, soon. don't worry...

i got the car cleaned up today for the first time in months, it was absolutely disgusting. I'll try and grab a video some time soon. only issue is a small oil leak out of the crank sensor bolt which will be fixed asap, and my passenger o2 is bad which I've already ordered a replacement for, and it should be in anytime this next week. and i fixed my alternator issue as well.

here's some pictures from today's cleaning.
they're kinda plain Jane, nothing special.

Your right thats your problem with the alternator charging issue. I just went through that EXACT problem on Friday. I was almost pulling my hair out trying to figure it out until I took a break from it and thought about it for 5 mins then it clicked in my head. Car looks great, I just got mine up and driving yesterday I'll take some pics and a video once the weather improves here.

What were the issues as to why it didn't start when you tried to get it going the first time? Obviously it runs now, so what did you do to fix it?

Car looks VERY nice to say the least!

Thanks, the rear panel is the stock panel, that i shaved myself (in the back yard) i had it painted to match the car, but i didn't like how it looked just too plain, so i repainted it flat and i'll be adding some emblems to spice it up a bit.

the issues with it not starting the first time were breaks in the wires that i extended going under the fender well like the wire mod wires, they went to the fuse box and were power to the injectors.

thanks man!

I would suggest getting rid of the abs module, relocating the p/steering reservoir and also relocating the fuse box. You seem pretty handy with this stuff. The engine bay looks excellent right now, but the removal of these items would clean it up even more. Paint the dipstick handle too. Car looks great, it's just that these things stand out now, since the rest is so spotless.

yeah, sometime in the near future I'll be doing an abs delete, getting a billet lokar dipstick, along with getting a cylinder like billet PS reservoir and mounting it in front of the radiator like where the washer tank used to be. as far as the fuse box, i prolly won't be doing anything with that for a while if i ever do.

thanks man, just wait till i have the coil overs on all four corners. it'll be slammed, and nice. especially since i'm moving to a place with much nicer roads, and the car will no longer be daily.. it'll finally be placed in a garage and just be a nice weathered weekend car. at that point the car should be slowly coming along to show car quality as far as appearance and performance goes. I've got a full repaint in store for it, along with a few more engine bay things, and at least comes the interior which will be completely custom, and clean and simple. actually got started on that tonight with a fully custom sub box which I'll post pictures of tomorrow.
