Engine removal checklist
So far here's what I've got removed or out of the way.
Drive Shaft, Torque arm, Trans brace.
Wiring harness, brake lines, AC/radiator.
Steering linkage, power steering.
I still need to get the fuel lines off, and figure out the rest of the wiring where it goes into the front bumper, I can't quite figure out if it all snakes out or it disconnects somewhere in the bumper.
I'll be pulling the 6 k member bolts last.
Anyone have any knowledge of the harness in the bumper?
Do I have all my bases covered here or is there something else that needs to be done?

it sounds like you made a little bit of extra work for yourself. The radiator/condenser could have stayed as well as the wiring harness and power steering. I remove the passenger kick panel and unplug the engine wiring harness from there, remove pcm and lay the pcm on top of the intake manifold. Remove alternator for a little bit of wiggle room then remove the power steering reservior from fender and zip tie to accessory bracket where alternator was. Disconnect all the necessary parts ie driveshaft, torque arm, exhaust, front sway bar, brake lines, fuel lines, coolant hoses, AC lines, ground strap from DS head to DS frame horn, starter wires and loom from oil pan, steering shaft, crossmember, struts, then k member. It has been a couple of months since I did it last and I am trying to remember off the top of my head but I hiighlighted the things I could think of that haven't been mention and if I left anything out oops

I didn't remove the entire harness, I disconnected it like you said you did. I still need to get that ground strap off. Sway bar is last on the list as well.
Taking out the AC/radiator took 10 minutes and cleared a ton of room. Exhaust was the first thing to go.
Why do the starter wires and loom from the oil pan need to be removed? They seem like they will come out with the k member right?

out with the block, the loom from the firewall. So u can keep them connected to the starter and take them off later
Also make sure u disconnect the clutch master from the slave, I forgot to and broke the part where the slave line goes into the master.

Anyone know about the wiring harness that goes to the headlights? Do I just need to dive in and pull it all out as well or what? I know that LS1 camaros don't have to pull that stuff out.
