That dual cat stock y is your biggest restriction for sure, especially one with 138k on it. Those cats are probably a bit clogged after all those miles. Plus the dual cat style shorty headers are a terrible design, no offense. I originally picked up a pair of SLP d/c headers for mine, after seeing them I didn't even install them, sold them and got a set of single cat SLP's. There is a night & day difference between the two. I would bet you'd pick up 15-20hp easy switching to a good single cat shorty and lose the cat if possible. I made the #'s below with bone stock heads at the time and the lowly old hotcam.

he mentioned that the DA was 4000 which is basically a calculation made from air temp, humidity, barometric pressure to show how the conditions would relate to elevation

Vegas isn't 4000 feet above sea level but with the conditions it will make cars run like they are 4000 feet above sea level. I always heard you lose 3% power for every 1000 feet above sea level you are which could mean atleast 30hp right there just due to elevation.

Running drag tires and having an auto also lower the trap speeds some compared to an m6 but that doesn't mean your m6 would win a race against a similarly equipped A4 car

He hooked really hard and that will slow the mph down a bit 1-3mph at times plus the DA being 4000' hurt mph aswell... you are in Cali and your DA and track elevation is better m6 cars trap higher everywhere..
One night i spun very bad but decided to salvage the run my slip looked like this:

60'--------2.5(continental 275-40-17)
1/4-------14.5
mph------104.5

bolted the DRs on (bfgs )3000' DA
60'-------2.0 hooked hard then clutch slipped
1/4------13.35
mph------105.2 exploded clutch

OP do yourself a favor get a stall or your car will be a PIG out the hole! Unless you have N2O

definatly seems low. I have a 218/226 erson cam with 500 lift ex/in and the rest of my specs are in my sig and i just recently made 313rwhp/337rwtq. So i feel pretty good for wat i got vs wat you got with teh 503, lol. JK. But i still want that cam at some point!

I would go with the XFI 268 (466) now instead of the cc503. The 503 is a great cam but the 466 is a newer, better grind.

The person that had a screwed up combo cause he would not listen and now discourages anyone that will listen to him.

OP
don't listen to this guy ask questions here, many of us have had or been through these cars and know what they like and the compromise of being able to go fast and not be a PITA to drive around......i suggest you meet up with someone by you that has a stalled car and go for a ride, they may even let you drive it to see how a car with a REAL CONVERTER drives like
