oh, hmm. Doubt they have polished? And is there a grommet that goes with it or no? Like i said i wanted to mount these before it goes up to carlisle for all truck nats and figure it would make it look a little better.

Yeah, the one I bought was a Mr. Gasket cap that was polished and says "OIL" on it. I needed a quick fix for mine (kind of like your situation) and ended up keeping it.

I had one of those from the same seller...after about 6 months or so that sticker on the cap was toast.

The color/finish match is so close you would never notice it. The 5.7L sticker hides the finish if anything. The sticker on mine never came off...seemed to be stuck on good. Either way it sure beats the look of a black plastic one.

Here you go man..looks like I had the "Chevy Bow-Tie" logo on my oil cap. It was from the same Ebay seller as the one I linked you in a previous comment.

cool. Looks like it does look good on there. Guess the pics make it look more silver than anything. I just didnt want it to stick out like a sore thumb since nothing is silver on my s10. But if all else fails, i guess i will tape it off where i want it semi flat black like other parts on my motor and go from there. Only oother thing i want to do on the motor looks wise is get the TB plate to match the valve covers being polished and get FRC's and smooth them and paint them.

And you have to have the alt. off to take the covers off right? Only reason i ask is bc i am putting a new alt on and said why not do it at the same time.
