pulley is making bird noise/ and what is this hose for ?
I have 2 question about 2 different thing, I dont want making 2 topic hehe.
1: I think one of my pulley is making bird chipping noise when cold start, it gone when engine is warm up. how do I take the bell off and how do I take the pulley off. I think the small one at the bottem is making noise. I want take it out and regrease it with lucas red and tackle.
2: while I was looking at the IAC today, I saw a metal hose , I think a hose support to hook into that. I beleive my car have AIR pump delete. should I cap that metal hose off ?
this is the pix with the red arrow to it, in this pix look like a hose connect to it, mine do not have anything connect to it.

1. on the bottom of the accessory bracket is the idler pulley.. you take a ratchet and socket that fits it, and apply torque to it.. i dont remember which way you turn it but you will figure that out pretty easy... if it is your iddler pulley you cant just grease in, i believe its non-serviceable, you just have to get a new one..
2. that is a cap on the coolant circuit that was routed through your throttle body... it is part of you throttle body bypass..
it is not part of a.i.r. delete

the previous owner capped it off because it keeps hot coolant from going through your throttle body and heating up the incoming air. It was designed for cold weather climates to keep it from freezing shut in winter. obviously in the south you dont need to worry about that.

Just got off my lazy *** and went to walmart, buying battery for my camera , take some pix. please look at these pix and tell me if I got AIR delete.
Here the pulley I pull off the tentioner, it bone dry, no grease on it, I pull the gasket off both side and grease it, quiet now.
by look at this header, can you tell if I have AIR delete ?
where these 2 wire hook up to ?
what its ? and its stock ?

Your AIR is definitely deleted.
I can't really tell, but is there another pulley behind the front pulley? It looks like it and if so, you have an underdrive pulley. Most underdrive pulleys simply bolt to the crank hub, then the factory damper bolts to the underdrive pulley.
