In for results, i'm going to be building something very similar except probably a bit more cam and compression. All strapped to 6 speed of course.

I wish I would have had to money to go further but, I have to be budget minded. Just bought a new house and I have a baby boy on the way.. Yah!!. I hope it's fast, I won't be able to do it again for awhile

I know, it was freakin' tragic. Luckily the long block I bought had all the stuff I needed so I didn't have to go searching for every little piece.

I had a 6speed and loved it for roll racing. Got tired of pulling 1.8-2.0 60's and getting my *** handed too me by inferior cars from a dig. The car was too inconsistent. I remember back when my car ran low 12's and was dead hooked on the street with my last auto setup, it was wonderful. I don't street race that often anymore though, got too much to lose these days.

They are Enkie wheels that we sanded down the lip to a machine aluminum look and then his dad painted the centers black and cleared the whole thing...They turned out pretty good!

Once he gets all the bugs worked out prob 100-150 should put him in the 10's either way...

It's a TH350 RMVB w/ 3500 stall which I'm probably going to increase after I go to the track the first time. Seems a little too tight.

Well, when I first seen it from the bottom I was like, I need a new block but it's not that bad. The more parts and brackets that come off the motor the more of the block that came with them.

Default Wtf!!

Well, I have good news and bad news depends on which way you look at it. I was curising the car a few days ago and the it just lost a cylinder. So, I drove it back home just few miles thinking it was a fouled plug or burnt wire or something. I checked all of that stuff and it all checked out good expect for the plug in #8. It was fuel fowled. I changed it and the cylinder was still down. I pulled the valve cover off and found this.

So, I didn't feel comfortable not knowing if the piston or valve was damaged so I just pulled it apart and checked. Everything thing was good thankfully, that is the good news. So, I'm going to buy a new set of springs and put it all back together and see how she runs then. I can't get ahead for being behind.

yea they are pacs with around 4k miles on them however they were on the last motor he blew to pieces and bent most of the valves so it may have been damaged from that...
