Actually I was considering that but I still wanna be able to dive the car and enjoy it so the smaller head package seems best. The 200cc package does just scream out "10 second machine" though @_@

Just nice to see a complete top end, right down to the lifters and pushrods, for under 3,000$. Have to mail in my Throttle Body when I send the intake and heads as they say they can "only match your intake to your throttle body if we have the throttle body to use for measurement." Seems common sense to me.

As long as you stay reasonable with the heads they wont affect the driveability, the cam does that. The 190's still have a ton of potential though.

Yeah I can see that. Whats the powerband on that size cam, Ai website is listing 2000-6200 but the people i've pm'd and talked to with it say she'll run strong all the way to 6600 or so. (i.e. a 3600-4000 stall and tune the computer to shift around 6400 at WOT) Than again I guess that all comes down to dyno tuning the motor right. Dyno numbers will show exactly what the combo of heads and cam "pull" to and you need to set your shift point and rev limiter around there for specific applications correct?

God I hope im not answering my own question here.

It would probably be best to talk to the guys at Ai about that. Ported heads will bring the rpm range up quite a bit on topend. My 228 degree cam doesn't even peak till 6400-6500.

Yeah I figure a few emails to Ron and some dyno time after they are on the car should settle that. Just confuses me when a cam is listed as "x,xxx to x,xxx" rpm and than everyone tells me they set shift points 400 rpm over advertised PB Not that I have extensive knowledge of the setup (obvious by now) but it seems with the 226/234 cam everyone says 6400 is the magic number...

Dont buy any of the edelbrock stuff. Your money will be better spent on porting the stock casting.

Le2 heads, 226/230 cam, ported intake
get the summit 58mm TB & pacesetter headers/borla

Get a yank or vig stall, something around 3200-3600rpm. And the rest looks good, do these small changes and you ll have quite a bit more power for the money spent.

Those Magnum rockers you listed aren't even full roller. Get comp ultra pro Magnums if you want one if the best rockers out there for the money.
