i would say 14 flats stock....

the thing is with the lightnings someone could say they were stock and youd never know the difference, change a supercharger pulley and a tune and those things ran pretty good..

Asking how fast is a Lightning is like asking how much does it cost to go out and eat? They are all over the board. My 2000 model was one of the slowest ones...it went 9.13 in the 1/8th mile bone stock. My buddy had a 2001 and it went 8.7x bone stock, and 8.30 with nothing but a chip. Stock tires, stock air filter. Nothing but a chip. I would say his was one of the stronger ones.

A couple mods like a chip and pulley and they can be pretty quick.

From the posts it seems the Lightning runs high 13's stock. Does that not answer the question?

I get 363rwhp and 430ft/lbs on Vincennes University's chassis dyno with my stock 2003 Lightning. I have seen a best of 13.2 1/4 mile on 295/45 ZR18 street tires. The truck just tripped 100,000 miles and I need new plugs. After them, I will install a tune from my Diablo tuner and hope for about 400rwhp and 12.7's with a truck that tows 5000lbs. Do that with a Camaro or Mustang.

My friend has one that runs low 11's, and it looks bone stock.

Got a buddy with a 93. Last time it was at the track he was asked to not come back until it had a cage certified to 8.50's. Ran bottom 10's spinning well past the 660 mark. Made for quite a show though. Btw, long way from stock.

01-04 had a small power bump over the 99-00 lightnings. Not sure if it made much of a difference, but they are easily 13 second trucks stock. Faster than lt1s generally.
