Default Factory fuel pressure?

Everywhere I look I see a different factory fuel pressure, so does anyone no for sure? And also does the pressure stay the same if you unplug the vacuum line on the regulator?

Factory fuel pressure with the vacuum compensation line disconnected should be around 43.5psi at idle (but between 41 and 47psi is withing GM spec). When you reconnect the vacuum line, the pressure should drop proportionally to manifold vacuum (6-8psi for stock cams, slightly less for larger cams).

Vacuum line? right on top of the regulator.

Schrader valve is in back of the fuel rail.

My stock fuel pressure is 43.7PSI with the vacuum line disconnected.

It's the small vacuum line attached to the fuel pressure regulator.

There's absolutely no reason to drive with it disconnected.

On long trips it will just die, no signs/symptoms and won't fire back up for 10-15 minutes. But if I wait for about an hour it will act like nothing ever happened

With the vacuum disconnected it stays at 42psi. I've already replaced the fuel pump and got the ltcc setup. When it acts up in these cooler nights it will just turn off, but in hot weather it will miss and smoke before it dies, and happens more frequently
