oh alright and thanks for the information, i guess thats what i will be doing this weekend -_-... and i just got my new exhaust on too cars been undrivable for several weeks because i blew up the stock muffler, got some gas in it when i was turing the motor over when i was checking some fuses -_-.

i cant find any pictures of the valley on the lt1, does anyone know if theres any holes inside the valley that the clip could go down? cuz if not im not gonna bother myself with it right now.

IMO, in a situation such as this, I would just take the intake off and be done with it. Right there you'll know whether you need to look elsewhere. Good luck.

If its not in the valley its prob in the oil pan. Only one way to find out.

it had to have fallen under the intake manifold because it went up and over the head gasket, the only hole that is big enough for it to drop into is in the opposite corner of the motor. I am going to have to pull the intake manifold to get it -_-. i found that the silicone in the back of the intake manifold is sticking out a little and i found a little bit of oil when i whiped the back with the paper towel, i thought it was a rear seal leak cuz id get a about the size of a quarter on the ground even if letting it set for a week.

do you know how much a quart on the ground really looks like ??? you have other problems if the car sat there for a week and accumulated a puddle like that....

yea quarter sized drop lol thats it after a week of sitting so im thinking its only leaking when it cools down after being run.

how do i re torque the bolts in the back down cuz there is no room in there for a torque wrench?

I alway use a deep well socket theres plenty of room

i have a torque wrench built into my brain, 30-35 lbs. get the feel on the ones you can with a torque wrench then do the ones you cant by hand. ive never had a problem

When tightening I always use a deep socket and wobbly extension.
