I was trying to adjust the rocker arms on my lt1 camaro because there are a few that are making a ticking noise. I was putting on the Rocker Arm Oil Deflector Clips when one sliped and fell into where the push rod comes out, i heard it fall inside the motor when it hit it sounded hollow. Im not sure what to do to get it out any ideas???

It's a flexible snaky-like camera (either with a screen or just an eyepiece and uses ambient light, those are the cheaper ones). Most auto shops have decent ones, but they are very expensive. Maybe you can find a shop kind enough to let you borrow it, or maybe you know a friend who might have one. I have one, so that's why I said "I would use..." ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
In all likelihood though you might have luck just fishing with a magnet.

theres no way its coming back up the way it went down -_- theres a metal shield that the push rod goes through and it went up and over that shield... i tried a telescoping magnet but it got jammed in there and i dont wanna try that again is there any smaller telescoping magnets?

when it fell down it fell down next to the third push rod in from the left at the bottom, there is a metal shield down there i believe cuz i heard it when the magnet touched it so i guess im going to have to pull off the intake manifold, any idea on what things im going to need? i have no egr system just a block off plate in the back and ive already done the tb bypass.

I'm still confused. Your terminology is a bit confusing. Look for a better picture of this hole and mark it in MS Paint then upload it to an account, if you can. From what I can gather it sounds like you lost it down an oil return passage or into the lifter valley.

You just need sockets and a ratchet the only special tool is the fuel line disconect tool which you can get a pack at auto zone for like 5 buck. For gaskets you can get and intake gaskest set at auto zone and itll have everything you need
