Throwing a cam in an LT1 with ~70k miles, change the lifters?

Trying to keep the cost down, but could we get away with it? Its the 503 cam btw.

If you are already in the motor it's cheap insurance imho. 300$ on new lifters is cheaper than ruining an engine.

The 503 is a mild cam. The stockers should be fine. Take them out and look at them real close. Make sure the wheels are nice and not scored up.
