I have these on my 95. The fit is good, you need to open up the bolt holes as they are too close to the collectors, and i had to dent in near the steering shaft. That was with new poly mounts. Other than that, 02 extension and good gaskets your buddy will be set

It says professional install recommended. No instructions include. Really means that dont fit right. But then again, what LT's do fit perfectly out of the box?

I have them, and like white95birdta, I had issues with the steering knuckle. I grinded it down and it's still making a little contact. I was also making contact on driver's K-member/A-arm peice (???) and passenger side engine bay.

So yes, some fitment issues to say the least. A real pain in the *** if you're not expecting it and have to remove the motor/k-member after the install just to make clearance.

But after it's all said and done, it was worth $300 shipped to the house compared to the price of name brand stainless headers.

Pacesetters do

And as far as the eBay headers, I took out the steering column, modified the bolt holes a little bit and moved it over some. Didnt have to touch the primary or do any grinding on the steering knuckle at all. But both sides hit the kmember, so had to do some beating/grinding there. And the pass side is not even close to clearing the frame rail-some beating required there too. But you cant beat the cost for stainless steel

Yeah they look like the LLP knockoffs, I wish someone would make the pacesetter knockoffs in stainless again

My pacesetters had to be dented on the passenger side, couldve just been the car tho. Also had to cut off one of the tabs on the steering shaft to get it to clear so i could turn the wheel.

I have the headers from ap1ap2. I think there all the same with the exception on the eworld ones that are no longer available.

My passenger side fit with no problems what so ever. But drivers side took some beating by the steering shaft. Its a pita but very worth it. Plus they look badass!

I had them, if the car is lowered don't get them, got to beat the #1 cylinder primary to clear the steering knuckle, the Y pipe hangs really low under the car, the passenger side leaked between the head and the header ( I fixed that one with a hammer), not to mention that changing the oil filter is a PITA, if is still worth it go for them, if I were you i would save some money for a set of hooker LTs

they hang a lil bit low too, but they don't rub against anything and they don't leak, plus I like the 3 bolt flange to hook up the Y pipe versus the slip-on desing, there is definetly more room around the engine with the hookers

I don't see many people using them, but I have not seen a better fitting LT than my TPIS headers. The bolts go through stand-offs also, so it makes that much easier too. I changed all my plugs from the top with the car on the ground a few weeks back and did not remove anything but the alternator to do so. It was my first time ever changing plugs on an LT1 and it wasn't the nightmare I was expecting. I didn't use anything other than a normal 5/8" plug socket, ratchet, and both short/long extensions. I like the fit so much I found a used set and bought them for my fiance's 95.

My pacesetters fit like **** too, but honestly after a decade and a half of abuse and worn out parts on these cars I would imagine most longtube installs running into problems. There are a ton of variables.

Like most people though eventually I got them on, and for the price I paid I can't complain. These look like a similar good bargain, but don't expect them to slide right in.

I just got my speed daddy headers on. I have every extra thing off the engine and the power steering is mounted on the bottom of the driver side and the alt. is on the bottom of the passenger side. The motor mounts are new poly units and a tubular kmember.

The headers went right in. The plug access is great. Zero problems with the bolts. The only thing is the primary is close to the steering shaft and the other side is right on the frame. Not that big of a deal for me to take care of but others might have a little trouble with it and the primary tubes will not be getting dented.

Can you post or pm me some pics of that front pulley set-up? This probably isn't the thread for it but that sounds nice.

Ive seen at least a couple threads on every single header brand mentioned in this thread about having issues. Truthfully I think its the cars tolerances not so much the headers.
