Default 1993 Fuel Line Relocation (no cutting hard lines)

First off i want to thank Larry at Speed Inc for the insight in the issues with the 1993 cars. He was helpful and with his info I was able to put together something that worked for me. Unfortunatly it did not involve purchase from them, but I want all to know he is a great asset to us LTxers. Without further adeu..

I have vette FRC's that were already cut for the fuel line connections. Also I use the factory schrader valve for a gauge (and eventually a wet shot) and I did not want to loose that either. For those non 1993 owners, the fuel lines and rails are totally different than 94+ cars. I wanted to see if it was possible to make a plug and play set of lines so I did not have to cut and put compression fittings on the hard lines. I was able to get Fuel Line adapters (Russell) and some lines. The lines were from a buddy that scrapped plans for his cars fuel system. They are -6an and have the 90 degree elbow crimped on the end (7 feet long). This meant that the line and adapter would not be much taller than the stock ones. My whole goal was to just move the stock lines off the fender and clean up under the hood. I was not too concerned about seeing the braided lines. They look much better than the stock ones and with the adapters still in the stock location, removal is very easy. I also have a braided lokar throttle cable that you can see. The attaced pic is just the test fit. I plan on changing the blue adapters and nuts to black. I will have to make some kind of hidden clip to keep the lines in place. Overall I am happy with the look. I could see how some people would want the lines totally hidden, but I am fine with it. I will post up pics top and bottom when completed.

The fuel line relocation looks great!! Your intake tube looks like it's kinked up though.

For those that did the relocation, what did you do with the third line? Can that be deleted? I don't know if it's the same for the 93's. Thanks.

Where did you connect the other end of the braided lines to? They make adapters to go from the factory steel lines to AN fittings? What is the size of the factory line or what part number did you use?

Thanks guys! The adapters are from Russell. I got them from summit. They are for the 3/8 and 5/16 hard lines. I am on my mobile now but will post part numbers ASAP. I used same adapters under the car. Will post pictures soon. The lines and fittings are -6an. I dunno who makes the lines. I will have to ask my friend. They may have been custom.

They are 1992-1993 Corvette (they had different intake than 94+). They need to be trimmed for f-body. The CAMARO is a sticker i got from 4th Circle Designs. THey are overlays for v6 CAMARO badges. THey are on a piece of 1 inch my 12 inch Carbon Fiber strip I got from McMaster Carr. I used double sided tape to cover where they used to say corvette.

Last night i hooked up the lines under the car and routed them throught the inner fender. Will have completed pictures ASAP. I need to figure out how to fill the rectangular hole in the inner fender.
