I don't have a controller anymore. I use the FAST XFI power adder functions to control the nitrous and traction. I hit 100% out of the hole on the first stage. I just pull timing and ramp it back in over a period of seconds.

thats a sweet run, i agree someone needs to make a aftermarket LTX block because who knows how long the stock block will handle that much pressure in the cylinders before things start exiting.

The LTX blocks are very strong and I have seen Rick Intrau run 8.0's@175+mph with the stock block so Tony has aways to go. Tony I am going to run alky injection to keep cylinder temps down and stay out of detonation on n2o. JMO later Clint

I would like to share purely for informational purposes that the new AFR 245 is simply a larger version of the 235 which you successfully modified/converted to LT use. The only difference is the pushrod pinch is removed and due to that you are now forced to run shaft rockers with an offset (if you have 227/235 shaft rockers now they bolt right on the 245 and work perfectly).

Everything else is the same....valve spacing....stud spacing....valve diameters....its just a larger port with 350 CFM's of airflow on tap.....about 10 more than the 235 head which moves alot of air as you already know.

Down the road we will likely make LT versions of both (235's and 245's) right from the factory but it wont happen anytime soon unfortunately.

Like I said....I just wanted to clarify what the new 245 head consists of....we tried to make it very user friendly and friendly to all those already running our 227 and 235 series heads.

Dave has a point! Plus your going to have to do more chassis work for the 106mm/nitrous set up

Tony-

What version of the Sonoco hood do you have now? Is that the 'wide' or just the regular? Got any under engine shots of what it is currently?

Its the extended one. Only extended one they offer. I will try to get some under shots. This is a pin-on hood.
