Whats it gonna take to get into the 12s
right now the best i have run is 13.5 @ 103, with a 2.1 60ft.(untuned) Over the winter i was going to focus on some small suspension things, LCA's as well as subframe connectors, and a set of DRs for next spring. the car went 13.6 @ 101 before the LTs and ORY, so i think it has 13.4s in it with the full exhaust, if i can hook.
So my question is what is it gonna take for me to get into the high 12s with bolt ons. thats all i really want to do with the car for now; high 12 bolt on lt1. What other mods should i look into to go along with the mods in my sig

ryan listen up lol.........that car will benefit HUGE from a tune I've seen the car run since the headers the tune is way off........also stick like a 3000 converter in it with a set of drag radials and you'll be damnnn close if not there
and you dont need aftermarket LCA's lets just weld on the relocation brackets and thats all you need we can adjust the LCA angle from there and the cars stock ride height.......at this point theres no need for aftermarket LCA's

A tune for sure. That 125bux will take you the longest way. Next would be tires, 2.1 60ft with an a4??? Dude c' mon, you can do better than that. I pulled 2.1's on street tires when i was 16..... with an m6.
Tune, tires, stall. With those mods and remove all seats, jack&spare, front sway bar. you could go anywhere from 12.20-12.90 depending on your 60fts. If you pull a 1.59 60ft a 12.24 @ 108 could be possible. or something a lil slower.
you have a 3.23 car, so its not that bad gear wise. Id go for the tune, tire, stall route. You may be able to pull a 12.90 with a tune, tires, lca's tho....so....
The bad thing is you pulled a 2.1 60ft with 20rwhp less than you have now. And if you get a tune Id expect 13-14rwhp cuz you have LT headers that need the reprogramed PCM. Also better shifts, etc. So now you have to figure 30rwhp more. GL

i know the car has better 60' in it, before the headers it was cutting consitent 2.0 60' on even worse street tires.
but with the headers on it i havent gotten it below a 2.1, but im not flooring it as soon as the light goes, im rolling on to it
tony, i would really like to see 12s without a stall

I dont know why your scared to do a stall. If youve done headers or spark plugs, you can do a stall no problems. I did one for the first time, after i was done i wondered why i thought about wanting to pay someone to do it.
"get a good stall" - those words are really really easy to say, and really really hard to follow. money gets in the way, i wish i had done it. I used a crappy TCI3500 converter, its still holding up and working well, but i dont have the mental security as i would with a vigilante or yank stall converter.
you WILL see a 4-6 tenth reduction with a good stall. I saw half a second and i only spent 175$ on my stall. It works ok at the track but on the street a better converter would be ideal. I hear the yank ss3200 drives very very well on the street and you can still see that 4-6 tenth reduction.
Mix that with some good tires and your golden. Im not sure what answer your looking for as to how to hit 12's but ideally a stall converter is the best way to go. its easy to put in, just time consuming.
So a good stall and a tune, maybe some decent tires, you should be 12's no problem!
