People may, but LS1tech isn't. According to this site, there is only one head porting company. And it starts with A and ends with dvancedinduction.

You can't argue with proven results though.

definitely not only one head people out for Lt1 stuff. We used a trick flow casting on 409 that was same on or local flow bench as a ls 1 AFR 225 head, std port location. Made near 90 hp 50ft lbs more than a AI 383 we tuned a couple weeks earlier, strongest ltx by far

this seems to be an on going question.......not knocking any other cylidner head out there but personally I've had great results and experience with the AI cylinder heads and camshafts......I've been running AI TFS 215cnc heads and a AI SR cam on my new setup and I'm having awesome results......see signature for times.....also the guys at Advanced Induction were great to work with, excelent service and the quality of the work is second to none. Good luck with ur build which ever way it takes you!!!!

Racing flow benches is pointless. Not to mention AFR flows their exhaust ports with a pipe.

I was tempted to try the new afr's with my build, but I wasn't willing to take a $2000 gamble on whether or not they performed like the Ai heads. So I decided to go with the proven setup and couldn't be happier.

Many people are and are having great results. Look into the 210's

AFR heads have worked well for me on many different combos over the years.

Im talking about afr's vs ported stock head. I did notice that they use a pipe.
I also agree on the $2000 gamble when we have lots of folks running AI and LE and are running sweet times but afr has 180 195 210 and 227. Is anyone running the 227?

What is right for a dedicated race car is not necessarily appropriate for a street strip car or even a milder dedicated drag car.

The single most impressive LTx car I know of used AFR 227s BUT when that guy looks at a NA street build he likes the same heads I use.
