Question Strange issue with my car?

About 2 weeks ago while sitting at a light, my car started to idle really rough. After the light changed, I started to go and the car hesitated and chugged foward until I got to about 2000rpm. After I got to the next light, the car was running fine like nothing was wrong. A couple days later it did it again, but this time it did it for about 15 min. After that, it didn't do it again for a week. Could my opti be going out. The car only has 63k on it. I changed the o2 about a month ago, and I put new plugs and wires in it about a year ago.

It's got a new coil, so I can rule that out. But I will check the ICM.

Fuel pump could be headed south.

BTW....great looking car man. I love that color but I thought it was only available in 1994. Did you repaint?

If you haven't done it in a while, throw in a new fuel filter before going after the pump. Check the pressure with a gauge though and be sure that you get near 43psi with the vacuum line off the FPR and also see if pressure holds for a while once the car is shut off.

fuel pump... as stated above, pull over and check your fuel pressure the next time it does it.

Thanks man! No, didn't repaint her. It's the factory color. I need to get a new pic up, the car has gunmetal TTM's now.

Try cleaning the MAF. A bad or dirty MAF will make your car run like crap.

Had a very similar issue with my car. I couldnt figure it out for the life of me (no check engine light or anything) I ended up taking a shot in the dark and changed the 02 sensors and it fixed my problem.

I didn't get to it today. I'm gonna try tommorrow. I also put new o2's in the car about a month ago, so that can't be the problem. If I have to I'll take it to the dealer and get it scanned.

What brand 02's and why did you change them in the first place? Just wondering.

I changed them because I put coated long tubes on the car, and the coating fouled them out. I replaced them with NGK units.
