Valve cover wont clear RR
That should work out for you, I found that if I torqued my cover bolts down tight the rockers hit the top of the cover. So don't tighten the covers really tight, I would bolt them on then tighten them with the motor running; if you hear the rrs hitting, back the bolts off until the sound stops.

I go the driver valve cover cut down. It went on with no problem.
