Congrats on the accomplishment man!! That car is moving out! Glad to see it is more or less a street car. That makes it that much more impressive IMO. Good work!

Awesome runs!! I wish I could get my 61 to 60' like that. I run a 96+ mph in the 1/8, but only 7.30's....so about 5 tenths slower, 3/10 of those are all in the first 60'.

Someone aboved commented about thinking your car would be more in regards to the underhood pic...as in no p/s, etc. I personally think that makes it all the more impressive. Full weight, HR, true street car that seems like it could DD and in the 10's. That's cool no matter what the brand or platform.

Hahah, I told you. It's definitely a goer, not a looker. I don't have a garage to do most of the things I'd like to do so it is what it is.

For some reason, www.dragtimes.com isn't giving me any weather data for that particular day, but estimating the conditions the DA was right around 100.

I hate to tell you but you will need some sort of bumper support, build your own or modify the stock piece. Once my car started running upper 125-130mph the bumper cover folded in on a pass. I had just put the stocker back but since then have built my own version of the burkhart with holes for my foglights. I can post a pic because burkhart doesn't offer LT1 T/A bumper supports last time I checked. later

Sure, post up a pic.

I don't plan on running the car for a few months, so maybe that will give me something to do.

i'd love to see another custom support also. im currently running no support at around 105-110mph 1/4 mile trap speeds. hahaha if a girl poses with my car i got to remind her not to sit on the nose. those few push pins and 3 nuts wont hold any weight lol

Congrats! Those times are very impressive. Sounds like a fun ride you have there. If I had the money I would definitely consider AI h/c, but I will be stuck with my little LE1s for now.
