AA diagnosed my light with a OBD II scanner(?)
Upon reading the codes it was discovered that at least 1 of the pre cat O2 sensors were throwing codes. Now, it has been at least a year and I can't remember too many of the specifics.
I believe that you are saying that the codes have nothing to do with the air pump being gone., soo...
I just need to replace the offending o2 sensor(s) and I'll be good to go.

I didn't say it was an OBD I. Yes I get the SES light. Like I said, it has been quite awhile so I don't remember the exact code(s). I might just take it to AA tomorrow for fun, to get the code #'s. If a new O2 sensor will put the car back into closed loop then I'll try it.

Yeah i noticed that when i unhooked it. Thats ok i can live with that. SO will it be ok to do the egr the same way? Delete it now and have it programmed out later?

Call me stupid lol but whats a code 16? And i guess i could leave the purge solenoid and the egr untill i swap in the 383. Was just trying to get some of this small stuff done before i do that. I still drive this car but only about 4 miles to work a couple times a week.

My suggestion is just leave both of them until you have the tune. Deleting them without a tune has no immediate benefit at this juncture.
