The hood actually will fit in the hatch, just so you know. You can't close the hatch though, but it will fit.

Took longer than I thought for someone to realize that.

It's obvious it didn't happen to that car.

I have seen that happen to a DSM on the street coming the other way toward me. It was hilarious, but I felt bad at the same time. Oh well.

You could get so much more air than your current setup allows. Get a replacement hood with some clearence for a better option.

It'd be too easy to put a snorkel on that thing.

I don't pull any vacuum with the lingenfelter cai. Either way I'm done putting $$ into a 14 year old parts bin car, maintenance and miles is all its going to rack up now along with a freshly painted hood. I finally got it to be a reliable 430rwhp daily driver that turns and stops well.

I didn't pull a ton with my setup, and even when I swapped to a better option it still pulled some. It picked up a ton of MPH even though it still pulled vacuum.

Eh it's not worth spending ~1k on a hood and intake setup for minimal gains. I would much rather put that $$ towards a watts link.

Why don't you have a secondary latch? That would help if it wasn't closed.
