Happened to me a few years ago when i was driving my "new" 88 IROC, the kid that owned it just a few days before mounted a harwood 3 inch cowl hood on it, dumbass didnt mount the pins right, doing 85 down the freeway the front mounts just give out, totaled the windshield, the hood, somehow, someway was unharmed and blew off the side of the road into a cornfield. If anyones ever wondering how the quality of Harwood's fiberglass is, theres a great example.

lol true ram air and dang will that cure your over heating problems! haha.. i wheeled like this in my jeep one day when it was overheating! gets the job done. only difference is i actually put mine back on after we were done, you couldnt haha

Actually, it will close. I've done it before. There's a picture in the items for sale thread in my sig of it in my 95. Granted, it isn't closed but it'll show you how it fit.
