well it was under constrution the lids keeped hitting the hood when i turned them on or off lol and i was in a rush to get home to go to tenn. i ment to check the coolant but i got too busy and forgotten it was open and i had no saftey latch

happened to me 3x bro!!! on my 98 with a WS6 hood when i was constantly under the hood during my turbo install and test drive...didnt have safty latch on either...luckly i didnt do much damage after 3x! just some facture cracks in hood LOL! HUUSSSHHHHH!!!!!!!

been there done that! This is what a fiber glass hood looks like when it flys open. That wasnt a fun day.. notice how it was unpainted. That means it was new. And try not to laugh at the couch on its side, weve all had those weekends where the garage looks a little bad...right?

I had something similar happen to me in my Mustang years ago
Cervini 3in cowl hood - I forgot to put the pins back in and within about 3 seconds of getting on the highway, I was driving like Ace Ventura. The cowl, wipers, and wiper motor were shoved 6in into the firewall and there were two baseball-sized dents in the roof above the windshield. Windshield survived but still had to be pulled to fix the dents
