Anyone using NGK TR55-IX Iridium Spark Plugs with CR over 11:1?
I have a set of NGK TR55-IX Iridium Spark Plugs that I never used. Anyone out there using these for a compression ratio above 11? I could go with copper but since I have these already I might as well see if they'll survive.

I don't see why they wouldn't work fine, but the best thing to do is ask your tuner to be 100% sure.
But something to consider...as cheap as spark plugs are and as crucial as they are, it pays to use the correct heat range plug. Use the incorrect heat range and detonation can ruin your engine. Having the mentality of "might as well see if they'll survive" isn't the smartest.
Not saying this is the case here because they will work just fine, but in the future it's certainly something to consider.
