In other words i want you to put yourself in his shoes and you know this is the only way you feed your family and some jack *** is taking food out of your kids mouths and you cant explain to them why they cant have what they use to..be a man for a second and think that way, than see why he writes the way he does when he responds to some comments he sees. sorry had to get that out and Merry Christmas to all lol.
Have you ever been to A.Z. or A.A.P?? people that work there know very little ,and have nothing to gain from promoting a part...

Wow... I am not even sure how to respond to what Chandler said on this thread. I am extremely displeased. As someone who owns a LT1 Z, and an LS1 car, I represent LTx cars and LTxTech to the fullest. Yeah, LT1 owners are made to feel like the red-headed stepchild of the 4th gen F-Body community. I have personally turned several people over to the LTx side, and LTxTech provides LTx owners a home to freely speak about their vehicles. Why would you even be a sponsor if you are going to derogate them?

LTxTech for the mother ******* win. Out.

Get a cardone. They are $200 lifetime warranty and have a much higher success rate over CMS.

Yeah i know, I guess my post sounded like a question (I meant sarcasm). what I meant is you should be busy selling optisparks, not warranties and returning of them.

I have no idea what's going on with CMS and LTX? but I do know that the LT1 is taking a hit reputation-wise by sub-standard optis. I actually got a counterfeit one from an eBay seller a few years back and it left me stranded on the side of the road, 150 miles from home. The seller "replaced it" under warranty AND refunded my money after I got into a pissing match with them, but the fact is that if GM did a better job supporting the LT1, maybe there wouldn't be a much crap out for it.

Optis are not that bad of a problem like everyone makes them out to be.

...until you have a problem with one. There really shouldn't be an argument that the opti is an issue with the LT1 at this point - hell, that's what this thread and countless other threads are about. Some people never have an issue with them, but there are way too many people who have had issues, and the argument that people don't know how to install them doesn't hold weight - otherwise companies like Dynaspark, LTCC, and now EFI Connection wouldn't have spent the time trying to come up with a better solution for what is basically a simple distributor.

I bet you that if there was room under the cowl, a bunch of people would just toss the thing and go with an old school distributor.

Get a 24x from efi connections and completely eliminate the optispark in favor for a ls1 computer and coil packs, will make the lt1 what it should have been from the factory for about 1500 bucks
