Default Clutch fork broke

Hy guys,

Did this ever happen to you guys, Was driving today when I felt the clutch pedal kinda sloppy, 2 blocks from my house, e the pedal became rock hard, i was in 1st gear and tried driving home. I had to stop at a crossing to let other cars go by, the car stalled. I tried pushing the pedal in twice to start the car (instead of pressing the **** by the pedal with my hand, stupid me) on the second try i heard a weard noice, and the pedal went flet, i started the car and thought is was the slave that went south. After being towed home by a neighbour, I removed the slave to found out my ford broke in 2.

Question, can I weld it (reinforce it on left + right side with a small strip iron) if I cant get a new one?

IMO, no way that will last being welded up. Maybe some merit in beefing it up before it breaks. Have not faced this challenge yet and I hope I dont.

Find a used one on the FS boards.

Those forks are pretty damn thick. I didn't know it was possible to break one like that.
