Default Update....wiring!!!!!!!

Well I havent updated in a week or so..........been wiring......wiring and still wiring........i got the XFI finally wired in and got everything pretty much back together....i just gotta clean everything up now and make it neater....power windows, door locks, gauges and all interior lights still work along with the wipers and the retained power accessory module after the key is off........also lost another 60lbs of crap between the passangers air bag......abs and air bag control modules.......extra wiring and the door support bars (dont need em with a 10 pt cage)........also got the headers and custom billet aluminum plates i made ported and bolted up.........and got the wiring harness and radiator and pretty much everything else back together as well..........currently im just waiting on some steering shaft stuff from borgeson because apparently hedman didn't worry too much about steering when they made these headers lol........should hopefully fire it up this weekend........pics below....

Looks good Mike! My Hedman 's didn't fit worth a damn either. I had to redesign the #1 primary tube, b/c it was directly in the way of the steering shaft.

Shame that you lost so much room for the groceries when you installed the cage .

PS: I will also be running the chris1313 ram air kit, with a big 'ol MAFless lid setup .

[QUOTE=quik95lt1;14706360]well i finally got the relay/fuse center complete for under the dash..........used a piece of lexan to mount everything to.......came out good.......now just gotta get it in the car and plug everything in.......run my power wires and finish up a few things and I'll be good to go............weather this weekend is looking like trash except for sunday......maybe I can get it fired then........heres a few pics of the wiring.........
i cleaned up the bmr block off plate too.......did it like all my other brackets and clear coated it.......made a little lexan plate too for it to cover up some old existing holes....

Very nice job on the wiring! You need to get one of the small label printers from Office depot. All of my wiring boards that I make use that print system. It makes for a finished product look. Your engine bay is really starting to look amazing !!

What's the issue with the steering shaft?
Is it in a different location than the stock one? Or are the headers just not designed for it?

nah i got the stock steering staft and rack but the #1 primary was like directly in the way of the shaft......so i bought a bunch of borgeson u joints and crap to try and go around it but it kept binding on me.........its easier to just move the header pipe instead

Yep, thats the same issue I had with mine. I bought a couple joints from Flaming River, and went around it...but I didn't like how it felt. It had a bind in it, so we cut the #1 primary down and fabbed up a new one. Made it go around the shaft' and it looks just fine
