Agreed on radials and a gear banger being a bad combo. You need a soft sidewall to soak up the shockload or carnage will ensue. The truetrac is also definitely a bad choice for drag racing. A spool or a clutch posi and some big bias plies is the way to go.

Im thinking so too. You air down 28" radials and they still have some pretty damn good sidewall to soak the hit...

I don't have a huge pile of broken parts and 15 years of experience to back up what I said or anything. I'm just repeating what some other assclown typed in on teh intrawebs. You guys have fun shredding driveline parts all over the place because radials are better and you are smarter.

You will break whatever the weakest link is if you drive it the way it should be driven on radials. Some times that is a u joint or a true trac diff or the transmission or what have you. That is why I said drivetrain, not a specific part.

I'm not quite sure what I believe coming from you. Honestly I'm on the side of you being a hack. What you've typed in this thread thus far is nothing more than thoughtless blanket statements. What you typed ^^^ right there applies to any driveline no matter what parts are behind it.

I haven't posted any stupid **** in here, just facts based on personal experience. You are the only one wasting time and bandwidth. So, for the sake of the forum, I ask you again, please stop posting.

I see. So you type generic nonsense, get challenged and cry. There is absolutely nothing wrong with running a 28" radial w/ a M6 car even if it's a 16" wheel. There is plenty of sidewall to absorb driveline shock. You can do whatever you can w/in the f-body aftermarket and your wallet and there will always be a "weakest link." Just hush already, parrot. Why not research that question you posed awhile ago regarding what actually causes an engine to decelerate since you couldn't answer it for yourself.
