Haha. I am in no way crying. I am just happy I don't have a mountain motor that's as slow as yours.

Then again, someone has to show the n00bs what NOT to do. You do serve a purpose after all!

So how's the wife?

Thats exactly what my builder is doing. He is machining me a fresh block instead of the one I brought him so everything is perfect at no charge. He said the shop that originally did the 383 didnt torque plate hone the block and that it appears they line honed the mains already so my splayed caps wouldnt have been perfect. Clayton or AES were the only other 2 shops I was considering.

Yeah you're crying. What exactly is a mountain motor? Some sort of "down by the river" terminology?
Exactly what makes you think you need to run a narrowed rear for a 100 shot? I mean seriously. That's ******* hilarious!

Cool. I found a good shop in CO or id be sending mine to Clayton. Machinist in CO torque plates them and has a hone that references the mains as well so the bores are perfectly square.

If you think the reason for running a narrowed rear end is simply due to nitrous, then you need to sell your pos and buy a prius. Immediately.

You are obviously out of the loop here. I'm sure you are used to it though.

So how's the wife?

I would like to narrow my S60 also to get the tires in a bit but got more important stuff to do first. Wish I would have done it when I ordered the thing.

Gregrob,
Corey by far had the best pricing might even be cheaper to send him your motor. Plus they sponsor the Shootout

I have no idea what your intentions are. Not all that important. Nothing has been done yet so it's all a bunch of empty, turd related babble. I just stopped in to make you cry. Good luck on that broke dick... I mean budget build!

When I grow up i want to be just like SS RRR

But Gregrob **** sounds like a nasty *** build.
I keep deciding between keeping mine a street car or a race car and at the moment leaning to keep it a street car.

at 6000 ft you can get times then head down here to sea level and rip that **** up!

I should be able to run high 11's on motor, if I really get the chassis dialed in. Even up here.

Then with da nawwzzz it should be a tad better than high 10's. But we'll take it one step a t a time and see what happens.
