Ok I did a couple little things tonight.. Just basically doing final touches before lift off..

I mounted my new Lokar Flexible dipstick tube (I have a th350 modified dipstick tube for an LT1 if anyone needs it...)

and I got my drag Bar all buttoned up...

(Don't mind how dirty the car is...it has gotten dusty from sitting and the under carrage needs pressure washing)

I think so! The only thing I can think of that I need to do it re adjust the shifter cable and I need to pick up a bolt for the intake..

I also may need to shim the starter and I need to fill the radiator...other than that It is ready to fire up

I would say for everything (including ls1 tubular suspension and all) right around 10k but I sold all my LT1 stuff and misc for around 7k so I have around 3 in it...

You could do the swap with ls3 heads and all on a tighter budget for somewhere around 5k I think....

I am still finishing up little odds and ends nothing major... But the harness is pretty much what is left... But like you said Merv has had all kinds of stuff come up with the storm and all so I know he is busy.. And I am just glad he is helping me out on it!

Almost!! Getting close!

it is a brass slip connector the slide into the throttle body...

It is the throttle cable though..

Kenny you will have to keep a price sheet on it...After spending 1k on the motor, 1k on the heads and intake and 500 on oil pan, oil pump and gaskets your half way there...lol Still have to get headers, water pump, alternators, car brackets, K member, steering stuff, harness, motor mounts etc and then fluids and all the nickle and dime stuff....

now with your luck with making good trade....maybe haha

yea I haven't seen you on here in a while....no the miss went away and the car felt great but for some reason it lost 36hp on the same dyno...

May have been my rocker change or something simple but I was tired of dealing with it so I parted it out....

I will be posting a start up vid soon!!

We'll see, lol. I'm positive I can do it for under 5k not counting anything I'd sell off to make cash back. But yeah, nickel and dime stuff kills it every time.

I've been on the hunt for a new Truck since mine got totalled..I dont feel like DD'n the MCSS all over hell.. I'm looing for a 1999-2002 Ext. Cab Short Box 2500HD 4x4 Truck, 6.0l/4L80E..

They are hiding, I will find one.

Alright now you have me in the betting mood...keep a complete tab on EVERYTHING you buy for the swap till the time you turn the key including tune....If it is 5k or less I will buy you a case of beer....If it is $5000.01 or higher you buy me a case

Watcha think!!

And I already owe you a case!

Haha your good man I completely understand...I know you have had a good bit of **** come up!

Yea a nice 2500 6.0 would be sweet! I am sure you will run up on a good deal!!

I don't blame you on not wanting to dd the MCSS! Especially after what happened to the truck..I would keep the car in the garage until storm season is over

I still need to weld up some support tabs for the mufflers and fill the radiator...other than that I think everything is good...!
