Merv you need to live closer so you could give me a hand to speed things up!!
What are your old springs that are coming off?? I sent payment for my cam from a member here last night...should have it in a couple days. Info:

"This was spec'd for l92 heads on a 402. I bought the setup from a guy and didn't use the cam. It is brand new, never even put in a motor. Have Cam card verifying it was spec'd by Vengeance from Comp cams. 250/266, .596/.596, 112+4. I'll take 150 shipped on it."

Looks like I'm going to have to tackle that "how to flycut your pistons for free" thread I've been reading. I'm planning on running it in a LS2 shortblock with L92 heads, Victor Jr., 950HP...backed by TH400/8" convertor...12 bolt with spooled 4.88's...all in a 1961 Bel Air. I'm going to be loosing about 200 horsepower vs my current all iron/solid roller bbc, but it will also be about 275 lbs. lighter if i figured correctly. I'm really excited to see what it'll do.

I still need springs and pushrods. I've got a set of Comp Beehives on a spare set of LT1 heads, but not sure which ones they are. I figure even though it's not alot of lift, the duration and rpm might dictate a little extra spring pressure. Oh....and decided I'm gonna keep my SS LT1 powered.

I could imagine she'd need a steady hand though instead of soft ones? I guess the handle on tweezers is large enough and you've got one hell of a magnifying glass laying around....

I wonder how an aluminum heads/block LSx compares to an all-iron 4.3L V6 weight wise. The v8 (sbc) S10 projects I've been involved in were fun, but not very well balanced. It made traction at the strip hard to get and/or inconsistent....and it made braking kinda suck too. I'm sure an adjustable prop-valve would have helped though.

What happened to MatSapp's build, and why did all this gayness replace it?

Just kidding guys. Getting a good laugh out of this.
