I bought all 2 from Summit and the spring from GM. Spring is PN 3848911

I bought the hardened ARP shaft for just a reg SBC , same for the Oilpump stud.

Not sure what is special about the stud kit or oil pump DS. I can't remember if the traditional SBC have a steal sleeve or is it plastic like the LT1?

I think this is the correct spring:

The trad SBC used a platic sleeve from the factory as well. The stud is nice to keep the threads in the cap good over severl rebuilds down the road.

If you have the block line honed or bored be sure to have the dummp pump installed with the stud to keep distortion the same on the rear main cap.

The ARP pump shaft has a steel sleeve. They are cheap. Get it. Then spray it.
