What is the approximate date of the shootout? I have a pile of crap in the works that might be ready for some fun. Carb and nitrious ok? Stock suspension of course. What tires? Are there class rules? Thanks Vince

EDIT: Taner has the fasest nitrous LT1 car from Canada. He's been 8.95 or 8.97.

Cool so minimum race weight would be 3350lbs? How much more for the carb in outlaw? How much weight penalty for a pontiac 867 head RR, Outlaw class only please. Thank you. Tires street or W compound ok? Rear coil overs permitted? Any penalty for powerglide? progressive controller ok?

Outlaw rules are as follows:
LTX Outlaw
• Limited to quickest 32 qualifiers
• Sponsor: TBD
• Payout: TBD
Must have LT1-based engine. Unlimited. Run what ya brung!
The classes are more strict for Modified, Extreme Street, and Street Stock.

I'm hoping to bring a little something for that sledgehammer of yours! I need to pick some tires but those rules are confusing to me. If I run a DOT Hoosier QTP, does it still need to be 10" wide or less? Or is the bias-ply width rule just for slicks?
