U-haul trailers are pretty darned cheap if you can find them.
They will usually not let you have one unless you have a full size truck to pull it though. I rented one with the S-10 once, had to lie and tell them I was towing a mini cooper with no engine, lol. That was when my '86 IROC **** its first 700R4.

For all of you guys that do not have trucks and trailers, you might want to rent one. I just looked on the enterprise website and did a little digging. I can rent a Chevy Silverado or Ford F150 on September 1st (thursday at noon) and drop it off after hours on Sunday the 4th for $192.75. The mileage part is a little whacky for me though. I can basically drive it anywhere east of the Mississippi River and it's ok, but if I cross the Mississippi it is 150 miles free then $.30 per mile. I am from Western, NY so your results may vary. I have rented trailers before, and they are usually $35-$50 a day. A new Silverado with the 5.3 will get 11-14mpg towing a trailer (I have one). Some of you guys that live closer could rent it on Friday and drop it off on Sunday. Just something to think about instead of driving your f-bod 500+ miles.

Brady is going to be the ringer in Modified N/A. For those of you that don't remember, he's the guy that picked up that GM Raceshop LTX block off of ebay a year and a half ago. I wonder how many cubes he's got now?

Brady had a strong runner last year but couldn't keep the trans together. Things happen in racing thats why everyone should show ready to compete because you just don't know when someones going to red light or break and all of a sudden your in the finals.

So true! Anything can happen on race day. The fastest car doesn't always win. Even so, there are 2 other classes that are setup for people who aren't at the top of their respective classes et-wise. LTx Index and LTx Bracket. Someone who is good on the tree could crush bracket with a 14 second car.

Your car could run LTx Index, Ltx Bracket, LTx Outlaw, LTx Modified and P/A if it meets the weight requirements, and LTx Extreme Street N/A and P/A if it meets the weight reuirements. You can check out the individual class rules right here:

Does it have a cage? If it's just a 6-point cage, upgrading to a 10 or 12 will add 50-75lbs right there. Then add a fire extinguisher (20lbs) put the battery in back (25lbs). That will be tough to hit 3075lbs for the minimum, but there are legal ways to add weight bars to your car. GIZMO does it to his race car, and the nice thing is that you can add the weight in the best spot for your car.
