and at 4:14 here's me racing a stalled auto forged 6.0L with AFR heads with my 383 LT1 with stock heads/intake (I'm in the left lane). I don't understand the point of the videos and what they prove outside that you want people to think your truck is awesome.

I love how the LS1 guys like to compare non LS1 cars to LT1 cars.
The LT1 is slower either way, but showcasing a motor that didn't even come in the car as something to brag about... isn't.
Don't get me wrong. I'm totally jealous of the ability for you guys to swap blocks so easily.
Just stop calling LS2,(3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,37s) LS1s. They aren't LS1s.
I'm going to drop a big block in my car and call out you LS1 guys about how my LT1 is so much faster.
I bought my LT1 because it looks better and it sounds better. I don't care about all out speed. If I did, I wouldn't pick an LS1 as a starting point anyway.

Seriously?? I got off work early one day and went onto the lt1/lt4 forums.. and saw the usual threads about "messed up optisparks" or "WTF my car is broken." So i decided to make a "STUPID" thread about LT1's vs LS1's to see what type of responses i would get... When it reached 2 pages, i was amazed... I leave for about a week and come back and now its at page 15... LOL.. Anyways to all you haters that wanna talk ****, good job, i hope you feel better about yourself and your life is now better, but i doubt it..
My ideas of LT1 vs LS1 is I owned the LS1 first and it was ridiculously fun, but i had to sell it for school to get my BS Biology and enroll in EMT training.. Now i have the money to buy a few toys again and decided to get an LT1, because the way i see it is when both cars are stock they are all about the same.. but who keeps them stock nowadays? I plan on doing mods that get me what i want and thats a reliable street car that looks good and goes fast.. An LS1 is "better" from the factory or GM would still be using LT1's. HOWEVER with the right amount of work i can easily reach my goals with the LT1 and i choose to do so, because i see LS1 camaro's as a dime a dozen and i want to have something different. plus i just like the look of it...
in the end if you like your car then who gives a **** about what other people say? We all have different goals with our cars and different tastes.
