It's a little shameful that I see some fellow LT1 owners hide the fact that they simply like the LT1 for pure nostalgia and sentimental reasons behind excuses.

I definitely don't see " I like my LT1 just to be different" as a reason becuz for one you're not being different riding in an LT1 car with an LT1 in it!!
If you were to want to be different you would swap an LS engine into an LT1 car.

There are a million and one reasons you could have for desiring to keep your LT1 car numbers matching and NO ONE can knock you for it.

But if it comes down to engineering and facts the LS1 is hands down the better engine.

I hope the LS1 gods forgive thoz of you who know not what you speak.

Money can build anything to be superfast and it rules all. But from design perspective the LS1 engine is still better.

Stop hating. Stop excusing. Let the spare optispark go.....cmon now.....let it go....I have 1 too. The first step is admission....later as the weeks go by...you'll feel some withdrawal symptoms....u know the shakes similar to that unexplained fuggin idle misfire that could crack the our LT1 windshields...yup...but this too shall pass. Put the special LT1 spark plug socket down.....just .... just put it down.

Thats right friend....you're a victim.

here is a 383 LT1 trans am vs the ls1 dodge ram

and at 4:14 here's me racing a stalled auto forged 6.0L with AFR heads with my 383 LT1 with stock heads/intake (I'm in the left lane). I don't understand the point of the videos and what they prove outside that you want people to think your truck is awesome.

How about we end this God vs. Dinosaur argument with a "friendly" competition at a track?
