I don't understand why people put that junk on Camaro's. They look terrible.

I personally don't care for the polished grilles on LT1 cars, it looks like the car has braces

I painted mine black and it looked better. I would leave it off, but now theres 4 holes from the damn screws, PO installed the grille otherwise it would never be there

I just ordered a black billet grille off ebay, as did Black94z28, he is happy with his. Once I get mine on, I'll take a picture as well and let you know. I also found an original '69 camaro blue bowtie to go with it so I'm real excited.

I bought mine from "grill4u" on ebay. It was around 40 or 50$ shipped, powder coated black. It looks great, fit's pretty good too.

To each his own, but I am going to relocate my air filter down there and might mods the bumper some to get fresh air and need something there to hide it some.

I do not care for the polished one either

Do you have any "adjustments" you had to make in order to get it to fit correctly? The ebay grill I have didn't fit in the opening with the "brace" that holds everything in line...I ended up grinding those all the way down and then I had to fab up some mounting tabs so it wasn't pointing upwards...the top of the grill sucked in more than the bottom did...looks like total crap.

^^^^^^ Thats what happen to a grill i tried to install from ebay as well the top poked out to far and looked funny, then i noticed if you put the V bace below the lip in the bumper it would sit perfectly flat, took me a while to figure that out. then it looked much better after that

I tired that too but the brace would pinch the bumper and would have scratch the **** out of it...oh well maybe I'll just stick my bow tie back on for the stock look?

I wouldn't buy another ebay grill, IMO they just dont fit right...the one I cut up does fit pretty good now.

Your talking about the v brace scratching the paint? Well there are ways to prevent that, Plus you had to screw the grill to the bumper right?

I had bought two from ebay. One for my car and one for my sister's. Mine fit like poo and looked funny. Hers fit great and was flush. Hers was the grill4u people. Mine I don't remember. I like them, but I decided to cut the whole area where the foglights are out for some clearance for a future build.
