wheel/tire question

A 225/45 is only recommended for a 7"-8.5" rim and it's smaller diameter would cause a speedo error.
A 275/40 will keep your speedo correct, as it is virtually the same diameter as a stock Z tire.

you can put from 245/40 17's to 295/40 17's but good luck finding anything above a 285/40 17 since it not as common of a tire. they plenty of larger sizes but they are not recomended for 9.5 wheels. Most will run a 275 or 285 out back and a 245, 255, or a 275 285 up front. with wider it is the more it seems to want to grab every groove in the road.

Same for me. I love the 285's being just a tad bigger than stock, but I wish I could find 295/40's for the rear. I know that size is made, but only in a couple brands and for big $$$$. It would be perfect for a bolt on big tire without rolling the fender lips or doing the BFH mod.
