One way to test clearance is to put it on a 4-point body lift and see what happens.
With how much I drive the car and wear i drive it again im not too worried about it, ever if i think it is too low ill sell it and go a diff route

I ran true duals under the axle for probably 4-5 years without them hitting the axle once. If I jacked it up the swaybar would barley rest on the pipes at full droop. I guess I wasn't smart enough to understand the reasoning for adding a bunch of bends to hurt flow and dramatically increase the cost of the duals when I had them made.

My car is far from photo worthy, these pics show its best asset, its rear.

For sure bro! My car originally was a formula, but it has a ta hatch, ws6 hood w/airbox. It has a few flaws (lady backed into the front bumper), but when it is cleaned up it looks pretty good. If you are ever in the Hays area def get in touch with me.

I would like to get my car on a dyno and have it tuned properly. I called wichita dyno and they said that they would not touch a car with a obd1 computer. Colin's91z said that there was another shop in the area that did tuning. Have you had any experience with any tuners in your area? Pm me back I almost forgot about this thread!

so that exhaust got sold to a guy with a LS1 firehawk
i bought it from him (he never put it on) and i have a LT1 with longtubes (no cam yet) so i hope to have the same sound

but i have a question for the OP

what bolt size/type/length did you use to go through the seat belt bolt hole?

i cant tell that good in the pic if you cut off the factory one or got a longer one and added a nut

If it was welded and fabbed up on a lift then how would there be a problem? I dont see a shop being able to fit an exhaust like that on a 4 post lift that you drive onto (suspension still under load). It would need to be the kind that grabs the car on the body and the wheels hang down with no load on the suspension.

And if it was built on one of those lifts, why would it need to be checked?

Shocks bottom out before it would hit but if you ever change them you would need to check the extention of the shock to make sure it's not longer then stock or what ever was on it when built. If anything you'll just have to watch for **** falling off other cars and trucks. Cant tell you how many times I have taken objects under the nose of mine. No one around here seems to know how to strap **** down.
