Default Magnaflow True Dual under the axle...pics/vid

Exhaust is finished! Took it to a local shop and the guy did a great job with mounting the dual exhaust and running the pipes under the axle out the back...yes under the axle. The header collectors and the the body of the xpipe are the lowest part, at about 2.5 inches of clearance each, so running it under the axle didnt lose me any ground clearance. I must say the tone on the exhaust is perfect but now that my hearing miraculously came back it may be a bit too loud for me, we'll see after a few more drives. BTW this is the dual exhaust with magnaflow round mufflers that Colin(Colin91z) ran dumped on his car for awhile.

More pics from underneath-dont mind the mess on the rear end, need to address a leaky pinion seal

Sounds good. Are those the 3.5" or 4" Corsa clones?

Theyre the 4in, the 3.5 might be a better choice but i got these for less and I think they look great especially from the distance the video was taken

So yea im thinking this is going to be too loud for my liking even with running it out the back and here i thought the magnaflow would be quieter than my friends same setup with dynomax bullets. I love the tone so need to figure out how to bring the volume down but get the same sound, just not sure if another pair of magnaflow round mufflers before the tips will do the trick.

Sawp out the bullets for some 5x9s and place them under the rear seats, my TD thread has good pics where clearancing is needed

looks like your exhaust favors the left side more then the right

Rear end travel won't come down and crush or tear the pipes off the car? I don't understand going under the rear.

Yea ive seen yours and it sounds good but id rather just add extra mufflers at the end for around town use and i can remove them and the tailpipes for the track when ever i want.

Theres actually about 1.5in of clearance from the sway bar to the tips so unless im going dukes of hazard i dont foresee an issue with it.

It looks good..but man you hit a bad *** bump you dont expect at high speed then kiss it goodbye..that Axle will own it quick..

One way to test clearance is to put it on a 4-point body lift and see what happens.

Sounds good! There's no freakin' way I could put a dual setup on my car since it sits so low.

Yeah, there is kinda a reason exhaust pipes always go over the rear.
