Out with the crap, in with the horsepower.

Will not have to cut the cowl for the distributor because it's where it should be. Not under the stupid backwards water pump. Put a set of LS1 headers against the heads, all I need to do is saw off the flanges and weld on new ones. The tubes will take minimal massaging to fit.
Going to save some weight and get some real horses to boot. This my friends is a real win-win situation.

Pretty rank posting that here on the die-hard hard core LT1 forum. This is worse then coming in here and saying the LS1 is better than the LT1 (which it is, you all know)
Please tell us this is a joke gone bad.

The Camaro above has been on Pinks a few times. Won the Pinks All Out Quick 8 in Phoenix Nov. 20th. Was runner up here in Tucson, a blown Dodge Dart won it. It also got second place in Phoenix a few years back. Been on Pass Time too. Belongs to a good friend of mine. We're trying to get it in the 7's.
My LT1 with the FE was my attempt for an April Fool joke. The 427 is going in a Shelby Mustang Convertible. Nice engine for a street machine.
Should have posted my Camaro w/FE on the Mustang boards
If I only had a Cuda! I'd be hiding from flying rusty camshafts
My Camaro will stay LT1 powered. It's just a toy.
