I used to run a jeep box with 2 10" subs facing the rear window with a decent amp and it freakin' pounded.
Oops forgot to tell orientation. haha
they were on top of the gas tank hump.. facing rearward.

I ran an IDMAX 12 sub and a Zapco amp for awhile in my old camaro. Just bought a ebay firebird/camaro box and modified it to center mount 1 12" sub. Hit pretty hard, grew out of the subs though. Just dead weight now. Use to be very big into it, my best one was an 18" RE XXX in a like 8-10cu ft box and an 1800 watt amp haha. sub itself weighed like 60-70lbs, i remember mounting it and when i flipped the box upright it ripped the screws out of 3/4" mdf like it was cardboard.

I have the dual stealth boxes with some polk 10's. I have a polk pa 1100.5 amp mounted on the shelf as I call it (the flat area above the gas tank behind the rear seat.) It is a very nice setup and slams on only half volume. I can get some pictures if you would like.

Both of the boxes look sick, but I like how the stealth box leaves you so much cargo space.
I got one of these in my trunk:
Fits perfectly in the t-top area. It's only 800watts but it gets the job done.
