Pulling Intake
So now I get to change the clutch and intake gasket in the same weekend. Are there any tricks to doing it or is it gonna suck as bad as I think? I just need to know anything that will make it easier/quicker. I guess while Im in there Im gonna go ahead and change valvecover gaskets and put in a new rear main seal.
If your not a cali car, do the EGR delete if you havent yet. "they" say thats one of the reasons the rear seal fails, it gets excessive heat and breaks down.
As far as the trans goes a good swivel socket, not just a swivel with a socket, but spend the money on an actual swivel socket and get a 24" extension to go with it, that will help get most of the bolts on the bellhousing.
You deffinetly have a full plate, but the intake isnt as bad as your thinking.

. The job looks a lot harder than it is with the engine being halfway under the windshield but in reality it is really simple and straight forward. Trending Topics
How will the car run with EGR deleted and no tune?
which if funds permit, Ill be buying a set of Longtubes and throwing in when the Tranny is pulled. It would be ALOT of work but everything seems to be easier to work on when the tranny is out.
