Default Oil pump drive assembly...

Alright im doing a heads and cam build with the cc306. I replaced the oil pump drive assembly and the shaft when I done the cam only build. The drive assembly is a gm with 5,000 miles and the shaft is a hardend with metal sleeve. My question is-do you think I need to upgrade to a better drive assembly or should the very low mile gm one work just fine? Ill be spinning a max of 6800 and using the melling 10554 pump with the white high PRESSURE pump. Thanks for your input.

credit for the fancy pic goes to Puck for the painted valley and new bolt.

I've got quite a few out there right now. Alot have sold on ebay where they're going for 15.70! i'd like to move these things as like a group purchase on LTxtech. I've recouped my initial investment on the pieces so maybe I'll let 20 go for $10 shipped a piece. I have some other interesting projects that need funded

I paid $15.70 so damnit gimme my refund.

Just kidding, the thing works great and is worth double the price. I did have to knife edge the bracket in the corners of the tabs where they fold over to ensure the bracket sat flush on the housing. That took an unforgivable 60 seconds with a Dremel.
