Default Got EGR delete question.

I just removed my intake to fix the oil leak it has. I just bolted on my EGR block off plates and am about to reinstall the intake. What do I do about the metal pipe that connected to the back of the intake? I blocked that port off so how do i disable the tube from doing what it does? Can I drive with it back there not connected?
Thanks!!!!!

Remove it, if you blocked it off in back of the intake simply remove it as you won't have any use for it unless its still conected to the header or stock exhaust then simply have a welder, weld it shut..

That tube goes from the pass. exhaust manifold to the back of the intake. If you just leave it after only blocking off the intake, you will have a nice exhaust leak right thar.

You don't need to remove the valve cover. Sure it's back there, but if you're good at working by feel you'll be fine. You won't be able to see much.

I forgot to update this so im a little late getting back to you guys. I couldn't get it done, I tried until my forearm was bleeding from getting cut up on the intake. So What i did was pintch the end of that tube close with some pliers and rolling/folding the pipe as far back to the header as i could. Car runs with no hints of exhaust leaks. I got long tubes going on with in the next few weeks so it will get taken care of either way. I just wanted to say thanks again to you guys for helping me out.
